Kenyan legendary musician Mr Lenny has postponed the launch of his highly anticipated album following the heartbreaking loss of his mother.
The “Cash Money” hitmaker shared the devastating news with his fans through his social media platforms on Thursday, 23rd July, expressing his grief in an emotional post.
> “I can’t believe… Mum it is sudden and shocking ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜.. Lala Salama.”
Shortly after, the celebrated musician announced the cancellation of his album launch, which had been scheduled for 1st August, through another heartfelt message.
In his statement, Mr Lenny wrote:
> “Dear family and friends, it is with great humility and sadness that I announce the cancellation of my album launch on the 1st of August due to the loss of my dearest mother who passed on 23rd July. We shall communicate on the new date in due course. I humbly ask for your understanding, prayers and support during this hard time.”
The announcement has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from fellow legendary musicians, industry stakeholders, and thousands of fans who flooded his social media pages with heartfelt condolence messages, prayers, and words of encouragement.
