Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz was forced to miss his daughter Tiffah Dangote’s birthday celebration in South Africa after a planned private jet trip was disrupted by logistical challenges.

The Wasafi boss had planned to travel to South Africa alongside a team of Tanzanian celebrities and family members to celebrate Tiffah’s special day.

Among those expected to be part of the trip were Tanzanian music power couple Billnass and Nandy, singer Marioo, Diamond’s brother Romy Jones, among other celebrities. Diamond was also expected to travel with some of his family members, including his two children.

According to Diamond, the entire travelling team arrived at the airport early enough and was ready to depart for South Africa.

However, their plans were reportedly disrupted after they were informed that the private jet had not received landing permission from South African authorities.

Diamond explained that the challenge was caused by late communication with the relevant authorities, leaving the group unable to proceed with the planned journey.

The unexpected development meant that Diamond could not make it to South Africa in time for his daughter’s birthday celebrations.

Following the disappointment, Diamond Platnumz shared a heartfelt video addressing his daughter and expressing his regret at missing the important occasion.

The Wasafi boss assured Tiffah that although he could not make it for her birthday as planned, he would make the trip to South Africa and spend time with her sometime in the near future.

The missed celebration comes at a time when Tiffah’s birthday has attracted attention from family, fans and celebrities, with many celebrating the young star on social media.

Diamond’s inability to attend the birthday has also sparked conversations among fans, with many sympathising with the singer over the unexpected travel difficulties.

Diamond Platnumz remains one of the most influential entertainment figures in East Africa, with his family life and music career frequently attracting attention across the region.

Despite missing the birthday celebration, his message to Tiffah showed that he remains keen to make up for the missed occasion and spend quality time with his daughter.
