Wiper Patriotic Front leader Kalonzo Musyoka has declared himself President William Ruto’s greatest political rival, saying he is determined to send the Head of State home.

Speaking during a Thanksgiving Service at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kamikau, Tharaka Ward, Kalonzo welcomed Ruto’s recent remarks naming him as his main political competitor, describing the admission as the most honest statement the President has made in four years.

Kalonzo also dismissed claims that he was working overtime to outshine Ruto, saying the President’s concerns about his political activities showed that the opposition was setting the pace.

He further declared that God was using him to send Ruto home and deliver Kenya from what he termed a “predator regime.”

The Wiper leader went on to highlight his busy travel schedule, saying he had visited Machakos, Mombasa, London, Rome and Bondo within three days. He maintained that his engagements were undertaken without using a private jet or public funds.

Kalonzo also accused Ruto of resorting to propaganda, misrepresenting his statements and launching personal attacks against opposition leaders.

He faulted the President for using project launches and relaunches as opportunities to criticise his political opponents, arguing that the government should instead focus on the challenges facing Kenyans.

The former Vice President maintained that political attacks would not distract him from his agenda, saying his focus remained on the welfare of ordinary Kenyans and the broader Ukombozi movement.

He reiterated his commitment to working with other opposition leaders to pursue political change, insisting that the push to remove the current administration was a collective effort.
