The highly anticipated Pokot Fest is making a grand return as Kokel Entertainment officially prepares for the second edition of the fast-growing cultural and music festival.
The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 17th November 2026, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, promising another unforgettable celebration of Pokot culture, music, and entertainment.
The announcement follows the overwhelming success of the inaugural Pokot Fest held in 2025 at the Carnivore Grounds in Nairobi.
The maiden edition attracted a massive crowd and featured outstanding performances from some of the biggest names in Pokot music. Fans were treated to an exciting showcase of live performances, cultural dances, and a vibrant celebration of the Pokot community.
With the first edition setting the bar high, expectations are even greater for this year’s festival.
Although many Pokot speakers are based outside Nairobi, Aperit FM an audio visual radio station ensured that audiences across the region did not miss the action.
The station broadcast the entire event live on radio, Facebook, and YouTube, allowing thousands of listeners and viewers to experience the excitement from wherever they were. The live coverage brought the festival closer to fans in West Pokot and beyond, reinforcing Aperit FM’s commitment to promoting local culture and talent.
