WOMAN’S BODY DISCOVERED IN SHALLOW GRAVE IN KAJIADO, HUSBAND AND FARMHAND ARRESTED OVER ALLEGED MURDER

Detectives in Isinya, Kajiado County, have arrested a man and his farmhand following the alleged murder of a 34-year-old woman whose body was buried in a shallow grave at their farm in Entarakuet.

The suspect, identified as Shon David Rabassa Kioko, is accused of killing his wife, Farida Peter Sangka, before asking his farmhand, Ndayishimiye Deo, a Burundian national, to help bury her body.

The matter came to light after Deo reported the incident to authorities, prompting detectives to visit the farm and arrest both men.

Police secured the scene before exhuming the body in the presence of a pathologist, Ministry of Health officials and police officers.

The remains were later taken to Nairobi Funeral Home, where they are being preserved pending a postmortem examination to establish the cause of death.

Kioko and Deo remain in custody as detectives continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has sent its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, promising to pursue justice.
